I would recommend that you read the chapter on working with Cambodians with a history of child sexual abuse in a book I edited in 1995--Sexual Abuse in Nine North American Cultures: Treatment and Prevention. The authors do a great job describing the trauma status of Cambodian immigrants and how to work with them. Of course, it is not a new source--but I think it is quite good (I did not write it so I hope this does not sound self-promoting).
Thanks, Lisa. I have handed in my dissertation now, with my own model of psychotherapy. I hope to return to Cambodia to work as a therapist and will keep in mind this book that you recommend.
