We are trying to measure cortisol through multiple biomarkers, including saliva. The problem is that our field sites are in very remote rural districts in Zambia, so a reliable freezer chain for saliva samples is next to impossible. I was looking into LFA for instant testing that can ostensibly be done by a field enumerator or lab tech. Has anyone used these? What are the costs, and what supplier would you recommend? Alternatively, if anyone has done a freezer chain in rural African areas, we'd love to hear about that as well. Thanks!
