Has anyone got any experience using bioreactors in processing caprylic acid (CA) immunoglobulin precipitation?

CA precipitation is a standard procedure for IgG purification from hyperimmune plasma. Theoretically, implementation of caprylic acid precipitation step in the bioreactor is suitable from the operational stand point since it does not require an additional step for precipitate removal. I would appreciate any comments on this possibility.
