IN my opinion this antibody is not specific. See: M. BAKER. BLAME IT ON THE ANTIBODIES. NATURE, 2015.

Maybe it should be tested adequately whether it can detect your target (e.g. via using rekombinant protein).

I think the antibody merely binds to the differently sialylated isoforms of the NCAM. This phenomenon is previously observed for MAb735 anti-polysialic acid antibody.
