I am interested in knowing approximately how much RNA is normally obtained from these organisms, especially I am working with Stomolophus sp.2.
I have obtained average values of almost 400 ng/uL from 200 mg of bell jellyfish tissue exposed to their optimal temperature.
Whereas from jellyfish exposed to low temperatures, I have about 500 ng/uL.
The problem is that those jellyfish exposed to high temperatures, according to the first tests, I get less than 100 or 200 ng/uL in the best of cases. Most leave much to be desired at values of 60 ng/uL or less.
