Has anyone applied the mean first-passsage time method in atomistic simulations of crystal nucleation successfully?

I have obtained the mean first-passage time as a function of cluster size for crystal nucleation. The shape of the curve looks like the one predicted by the model. However, the least square fit result in a reduced chi-squared of over one thousand. So I was wondering if there is some problem with my curve or the model is just applied to condensation nucleation, as previously shown in the literature.

Any thoughts?
