We find that combining D-numbers, D- Intuitionistic Hesitant Fuzzy Sets have been defined by X. Li and X Chen.
But there is no mention in the literature about the D- Hesitant Fuzzy sets.
Is it a gap? I mean directly DIHFS is defined without DHFS. Of course DHFS is a special case of DIHFS.
In fact when D numbers set elements considered to be fuzzy, D numbers method itself is a kind of probabilistic hesitant fuzzy sets and its combination rule follows the hesitant fuzzy sets combination rule.
Although since the literature in this area is too wide developiing a new contribution is not impossible.
I agree with Hamidreza Seiti . The definition of D numbers is too general to reflect the differences in different scenes. D numbers set elements can be considered to be fuzzy, crisp values, or other forms. It is not appropriate to use a unified calculation method for different scenes.
The special forms of D numbers can reflect different decision-making scenarios and further promote and perfect the application of D numbers theory in practice.
Decision-making methods are ultimately to guide practice. From this perspective
It is very meaningful to research on DHFS.
Different special forms have different starting points and different applicable scenes. The selection of uncertain information representation should be determined according to specific decision-making problems. So in my opinion, further research on DHFS can be carried out in combination with specific decision-making scenarios.
