While performing sensing pf acetone i got increase in resistance with introduction of acetone over pure gCN but when i decorated pristine gCN with transition metals (Ni, Pd, Pt, Cu, Ag, Au) i got opposite results i.e. with introduction of acetone the to TM decorated gCN the resistance decreases.
What could be the possible reason for that it this means that the gCN changes from p type to n type or vice versa after addition of transition metals in it. I also wants to know that whether gCN is n type or p type SC.
