Hi, I am currently conducting a research. I would like to ask if anyone have a scale to measure individual's sensitivity to other's deception? The scales I found all related to self-deception. Thank you.
I'm not sure there's a self-report scale, and I'd suspect any deception sensitivity scale would be more about confidence or self-appraised accuracy rather than real accuracy.
I would think that a task would be better at capturing individual differences in deception sensitivity.
I'm adding a link to a paper that's on ResearchGate that reviews the research on lie deception and suggests we are not very good at it.
