I know you are eagerly awaiting the publication of the section on questionable conference organizers. It will be published in the next few days. Why this delay? Because we do not receive returns from universities advanced by the organizers several days after sending. Sorry for the wait, but the list is coming soon and will be the longest to complete.
Also, the Dolos list, you know, does not like the dissemination of pseudoscientific information by lobbies, especially on glyphosate and hydrocarbons. These practices have even led to the addition of Taylor & Francis, for the very low quality of its "Critical Reviews in Toxicology" (https://www.professeur-alexandre-georges.info/tf-file-translation). I did not hesitate to respond to requests for deletion by stating that these unethical practices are harmful to public health and are unworthy of a scientific publisher. The case of Taylor & Francis is an excellent example of what the Dolos list will do in the future in this type of case. Regardless of the size of the scientific publisher, if such practices are observed, the Dolos list will react accordingly. It is independent, uncompromising, and its sole purpose is to inform about sources of false scientific information and practices of predatory publishing.
In addition, I would like to remind you that IREF, an influential group presented as a research institute, has been added to the list of dubious organizations.
Finally (and here I speak to predatory publishers who find it wise to put pressure on me), know that your threats, public attacks, and campaigns of defamation will not make me give way. On the one hand, I will have them removed one by one. On the other hand, they will not reach the scientific community. Jeffrey Beall himself was a victim of these shameful practices (http://scholarlyoa.net - sorry for the use such a link, but I think that the ridiculousness of these personal attacks will be enough for its visitors to forge an adequate point of view), we are all well informed. These practices only increase my motivation and only make stricter the rules of the Dolos list. In other words, you will gain more to calm down and let us work.
