Open letter from scientists: We have three years to prevent a catastrophe
The planet destroyed by climate change is not a potential scenario for a distant future, it is a very close reality, and we feel some changes today, warns a group of six distinguished scientists who have written an open letter, saying that the danger is growing.
Among these scientists is former UN climate chief Kristijan Figeres, as well as physicist Stefan Ramstorf, and wrote that if global gas emissions are not permanently reduced by 2020, temperatures around the world will likely reach an irreversibly high level, Reports Business Insider.
