yes XNA though artificial still possess basic characteristics of DNA and are capable of interaction and replication. however, the characteristics on each XNa will make a difference in its functionality. they may therefore carry non typical character depending on your research interest.

So if XNA from parent A and XNA from parent B are put in a condition to induce replication, the child C XNA built from the XNA from parents A and B is possible without translating XNA back to DNA first?
