Dear all,
my funding source could not be prolonged for the time of my maternity leave. In the meantime i applied to some stipends (mainly addressing women restarting their career) but did not get funded yet. I tried to find some alternative sources besides the DFG but so far my personal details keep excluding me one way or the other:
- Postdoc 2years after PhD (biology 2014)
- female, age 31, 1 kid (8months old)
- field: biology/material science/bone/biomedicine
- german, working in a lab in germany
- state: saxony
... or sometimes the deadlines just ran out :(.
So if you know of any other funding sources (foundations, government, ...) i'd be glad if you could point them out to me. If you are a recipient of one of these yourself i'd be happy if you shared your application secrets with me :).
