I have used 26Al/10Be in a couple projects and am familiar with various applications, some questions about your project I hope will help you with your question...

Was the 10Be you measured 'in-situ', meaning was it formed inside a quartz crystal lattice during exposure near the surface (during erosion/deposition)? Or was the isotope 'meteoric', meaning the 10Be is formed in the atmosphere? Depending on how the sample prep and analyses were conducted you will be able to accomplish different task with your data. I specialize in the 'in situ' technique. I don't have experience with the meteoric methods, but many good papers use that methods to infer soil processes/rates etc.

As for dating the sediment, you will need to have measured 10Be and 26Al to get a date from the cosmogenic inventories alone. Otherwise you will need another independent method of dating-- paleomag, 14C dates, tephrachronology, OSL etc. to learn date of sediment burial. The inferred age of the sediment, depositional environment, and composition will likely steer which technique is best.

Which lab performed the analyses? You should be able to have a staff member there send you a spreadsheet that calculates the atoms/gram SiO2. Those values are necessary to perform any erosion rate analyses, or any others for that matter.

As previous users wrote, you need to define your goals WRT the project. I use the 10Be concentrations to infer catchment-wide erosion rates, and it sounds like this is what you intend to do as well. Exposure ages cannot be obtained from 10Be in sediment directly (I think). Also if your sediment is very old, say mid Pleistocene age, you will need to correct for radiogenic decay and slow production by muons at depth. Really there is too much to explain here about how this works but previous comments hint at the complexity involved. I can help if you are interested, either by directing you to references or more involved collaboration. I would be interested in learning more about the location and depositional environment/age of the sediments to see what you might learn.
