Low tytres of IgG or IgM in blood serum confirms reactivation of ocular toxoplasmosis in case of retinal lesion. I think that Toxoplasmosis is a general disorder, which targets in some cases the eye and serological reactions are easier to do . How are you going to collect acqueos samples - I suppose the only way is through paracentetis, which is invasive procedure.
