Be humble, active listener, open to learn from others epsecially your seniors, read a lot, work both individually and within a team, and never ever give up on yourself; keep trying and give it your best!
@Irina Alexandrovna Chernikova : "Fight and seek, find and not give up!"
You forgot to mention that it is an English translation from Russian of the famous poem of Tatar poet Mussa Jalil, which he wrote while a Gestapo prisoner at the Moabite prison (if my recollection is correct). Indeed, it's a great poem:
The factors contributing to my success in research: seek right collaborators, always clarify expectations from and roles of collaborators, serve the research community through various roles regardless of personal gain and provide mentoring/support to junior researchers and colleagues.
All responses add value to the discussion thread. Just one thing for young researchers and not only; to be serious and scrutinize their reference sources.
.... to be curious, to see the unseen, to go through all the data, to be inspired, to be motivated, to discover your own series of truth and facts, to trust the instincts of own mind, to be ready for any surprises ....
As a Romanian poet once said, “The universe strains its efforts in every man”.
Always be open to continue learning. Be rigorous in the development of work. Listen and read to other researchers. Being willing to collaborate with other researchers in the same field or in other areas where the research carried out by each one can converge, which will undoubtedly produce great progress in certain lines of research. Finally, have ethics as a golden rule in research.
My advice to new researchers is. Do excellent research and value during several years, better than dozens of research during the same period with hostile ideas and low scientific value.

Advice for new scientific researchers "Try to follow the answers given in this discussion". and exactly I also doing this. One point I may add- select one particular research field/topic as quickly as possible and do Phd on that topic asap.
I think researchers should trust their knowledge and research. Know when to listen to others and when to rely on yourself. You, as the researcher has spent countless days/years researching your idea. You know what can be done so be guided by your research ... and not the naysayers since they can hold you back.
Be positive, sincere, ethical and honest in your research work. Planning and hard work is essential. Dream for innovative ideas and thoughts. Achieve your goals and turn dreams to reality.
In virtually any field of (at least natural sciences) research, there are undetected niches. Take your time - find such a niche and you'll be the best.
