Hi All, we usually discuss different tips in order to freeze dry large volume samples (e.g. two steps freezing, etc). I would like to ask you if you have any tips regarding the small volumes ? For example, 0.5 mL samples to FD. Would you suggest a low freezing rate ? What is sometimes observed is a kind of "powder-like" cake which is absolutely not a cake anymore.
