Regarding Forward and Backward Curve Fans, which one is more efficient therefore, respectively produces more noise ? Also articles in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
Dear Parsa, forward blades fans are usually more noisy than backward; efficiency depends on many fan properties (e.g. geometry of impeller and volute, type of fan e.g. centrifugal or axial). Do you already know the introductory book F. Bleier, Fan Handbook? Quite old but ever very useful. About efficiency, see also my paper (sorry for self-reference) A simple model for efficiency dependence on flow rate in centrifugal fans, DOI: 10.13140/RG.2.2.21031.44966, available in RG archives.
