In the book "Reflexive Methodology" the authors Mats Alvesson and Kaj Sköldberg (2009) challenges researchers to reflect systematically over their research methodology. For you, what is reflective research?
A part of reflecive research could be identifying issues and problems that are relevant to the time, place and conditions either in that country or the organisations.
Am interested to know what others think along this line.
Tabitha Durai Thank you. Like you I am excited to hear other researchers veiws on this topic. I am always concerned when research is too much following a «recipe».
A researcher pursues work in a particular area for a specific application of interest. After getting the results, this will put in a proper shape in the way of identification of problem, looking into the problem in the approach specifically, methodology adopted, case studies and results. This reflects the need of the conditions and gives reflective research and this will be useful.
