I am making a symmetric supercapacitor. can i go to negative potential window. As its a redox active material shows pseudo peak in a potential window of -0.3 to 0.4.I am attaching the papers who are using negative potential window for device application. Is it ok?

If i want to make a asymmetric supercapacitor with the same material as positive electrode and carbon as negative elctrode do i have to start the potential window from zero only?why positive potential window should be taken only?

 Please reply. Thanks in advance.
