We have a 4-point light 10W resistivity meter in our lab. I am looking for someone who are familiar with this resistivity meter and would share their experience about exploring groundwater with the instrument.

I do not have any experience with the model of resistivity meter that you have described. But as someone who has had a huge wealth of experience in the use of different models of resistivity meter, I wish to advice you as follows:
Since all resistivity meters measure either apparent or real resistances, which will be later converted to either apparent or real resistivities before graphical analysis. Consequently, you can run a simple test of the sensitivity of your meter by picking a standard resistor, most preferable a 1 ohm resistor recommended by ABEM, and measuring its resistance with your resistivity meter. Also read the value of the standard resistor by either reading the colour code markings on the body of the standard resistor or measuring it using a multimeter.
Compare the two sets of readings- those measured with your resistivity meter whose sensitivity you want to ascertain, with what you obtained from either direct reading from the colour codes or measured directly with a multimeter.
Repeat the standard resistor measurements with your resistivity meter and assess the trend of the readings. A sensitive resistivity meter will return almost same readings whereas an insensitive one will return different reading each time you take the measurement.
