I would like to perform a CFD simulation to visualize the fluid flow in an electroplating tank. This big tank (400 L) is mixed with several eductor nozzles. I would like to know if the walls are important and if I need a fine mesh to capture the boundary layer (or use a near wall treatment) or if I could use a coarse mesh (without inflation). As I am not interested on the results on the walls, the impact of the walls is not important but could they impact the fluid flow in the bulk of the tank?

My objectif is to draw the streamlines in the entire tank. What do you think about the impact of the walls on my results?
