I would so appreciate some help, any help with finding a possible advisor/supervisor for my post-doc research project.

My research is in the field of creativity, more specifically the role played by the imagination in the creative process. To date, there's very little research on the imagination itself with the result that we lack a clear conceptualisation of what we mean by this term. I believe that a multi/cross-disciplinary approach would be a fruitful way to explore the phenomenon of the imagination and that research based on a combination of phenomenology and neuroscience holds the key.

Despite spending hours combing through the research profiles of staff members across a number of UK universities, I have not found a suitable match between this project and an academic's research interests. Most of the researchers who are engaged in creativity research seem to be firmly rooted in a cognitive approach, where what I need is a researcher open to exploring the non-cognitive aspects of the creative process.

I would be very grateful for any referrals and/or ideas how to find someone I could approach about being a supervisor/advisor for a project like this. Thank you.
