I would like to design a ferrite core antenna via CST Studio. This antenna should works in low frequency. (125-134 kHz) . Unfortunately if I run the program I have the error that mentioned "The discrete edge port is inside perfect conducting material". Do you have any idea, why I get such errors? And how can I solve this trouble? Thank you so much in advance!
As far I understood your query, I think the discrete port is lying on the electrical boundary. That could be one reason for the error.
Solution: You can add a gap/space between the assigned port and boundary, so that minimum meshing steps criterion get satisfy.
Apart from the numerical issue mentioned above ..this is the doughnut like structure on old submarines like those you can see and visit in the port of San Francisco..and its important to use a ferrite ot laminated iron torus for this kind of small(compared to the wavelength) antenna since an electrical diople would have huge losses in seawater.

Dear Homa Rottner , what you should do is MOVE the discrete port inward, simply select the port and move it slightly into the structure (just microns, millimeters...basically move it minimally), that way it will not make contact with the boundary conditions you have set.

Thank you very much Miguel Ferrando-Rocher : If I have an open (add space) in all direction as boundary condition, then I have staircasing failded for discrete edge port. If I have Et=0 in all direction then I get the error "The calculation is unstable!" Do you have any idea for such problem? Thank you in advance!

in this case the problem is very specific, I would need to see the design drawing to better understand what is going on. I don't know if you can add some image of the design to understand where the error could be.
