Dear Snehal - Fermentation Downstream is a specific process for each product, molecule, whole organism etc. The process varies from product to product and ultimate goal is that the product should be as per the Pharmacopeal specifications. Within the downstream process for a particular product, many changes, modifications and optimization is possible to reduce the production cost.
