I'm trying to run an assay on the breakdown on linoleic acid by certain enzymes.
I ordered these enzymes from GenScript and they arrived in PBS buffer with glycerol as a cryoprotectant.
From my understanding, I need to first complete a fatty acid extraction step on the samples before I can run them on the GC. I believe the samples need to be freeze-dried before I can do the fatty acid extraction, but the glycerol is interfering with the freeze drying process.
Does anyone have any advice on how to proceed?
