Indeed, we cannot warn enough for the existence of imposters trying to mislead researchers. Your example is a typical example of a journal hijacked by a bunch of basically criminals.

If one is not aware of the existence of sites where already identified hijacked journal titles can be found (see for more info for example https://www.researchgate.net/post/New_very_misleading_type_of_scam_Anyone_with_recent_examples ) then numerous red flags can be identified:

-If you try to click on the SCImago logo it is not working. In other words, you cannot see that SCImago gives another homepage link

-If you scroll down on the real SCImago link https://www.scimagojr.com/journalsearch.php?q=19900192005&tip=sid&exact=no then some comments already indicate the existence of another website

-According to various sources (for example https://www.bib.uab.cat/human/acreditacions/planes/publiques/revistes/revistesideng.php?idrev=457&area=eti&menuidioma=eng ) the journal is open access, the fake journal keeps the papers in for example 2022 ‘locked’

-The Scopus link https://www.scopus.com/sourceid/19900192005 mentioned the correct Homepage and if you click on Scopus content coverage you see that they publish between 30-50 papers annually (and certainly not the enormous amount of papers at the fake site)

So, it remains amazing how these people try to mislead researchers so bluntly. Awareness is one of the best ways to battle against this sad phenomenon.
