this is a very interesting technical question. For a a quick and highly efficient DNA extraction method from bones please have a look at the following useful RG link:

Good luck with your research and best wishes, Frank Edelmann
Main hurdle is only one step how to crush bone. Than the rest of method for extracting DNA or RNA will be the same as you are using for any other soft tissue for extracting DNA or RNA. We did extract RNA rather than DNA (the procedure will be the same). This step is to make powder of bone in liquid nitrogen. Crush the bone in mortar pestle in the presence of liquid nitrogen till a fine powder is achieved, Than you can isolate RNA or DNA using normal procedure as from soft tissue. Another method to make bone powder from bone is to use steel beads and electric pulvalizer that also use the whole system on dry ice cold. We have isolated RNA by both methods and both have worked well. They should work for DNA also.
I fully agree with Subhash C. Juneja in that perhaps the easiest way to grind the bones is using a mortar and pestle containing liquid nitrogen and subsequently extract the RNA, DNA or proteins.
For the very convenient use of a Bullet Blender centrifuge which can homogenize tissue and bones using bead disruption please have a look at the following interesting article:
