We know that nature has positioned earth with a tilted axis to revolve around hot sun in an elliptical orbit which results in temperature distribution on the globe on a broad scale of time and space. The time variations are on a scale from a few hours (resulting from spin 24 hr cycle) to several months (summer-winter cycle due to yearly orbital rotation). Further due to tilt of axis, spatial variations result from poles to equator at a given time.

To me this fascinates. We have all temperatures on the globe on the same day, still we have to cool some parts and heat others. Do we not focus on a mechanism where (either using materials of large thermal capacity) to effectively store heat over a period of time and release when and where required. Or use it as a spatial connect to transport heat from one part to other. That will require highly thermally conducting low cost materials. Your attention and views will enrich.
