I don't know what was your previous software but why not using R now which is an open access software (free, perpetual use) with very active problem solving community.

The best software is R, if you are not familiar with coding, you can use JAMOVI and OpenMee softwares, both these softwares are open source. The only limitation is you cannot run multilevel model.
Yes, that online calculator works well - I've used it many times and have not noticed any errors. The web calculator is by David Wilson, who also has a text on meta-analysis and effect sizes. And as others have said, R and Jamovi are free options (Jamovi is a user interface that has a wide range of modules using R).
