Hi People. Recently we make experimental process cooling of a titanium Gr2 tube. The tube dimensions were: external diameter 170mm; internal diameter 65mm and 200mm of heigth. Then, we make an equivalent simulated process (with FEM software) and the compare results were quite different. Briefly, the "virtual" tube was cooling more quickly than the real. What do you think about the reasons for that different behaviour? One of you have some paper that can me serve to understand these differences, please?
