I would appreciate if some share the step by step calculation of a simple network's modularity.
I used Gephi, and know what algorithm it applies, but I struggle to calculate it manually.
This calculation will help me to better related to to abstract algorithm.
The adjacency matrix is attached.
I improved this approach on the basis of face-splitting product of incidence matrices.
The general concept was considered here (it is Ukrainian language but it is fully understand to study of tables and formulas with help of Google translator):
