If no one, neither women nor their lovers, can explain how women achieve mental arousal as a response to eroticism, then how on earth are they ever having orgasms with a lover?
What do you suggest? I am a woman and I am certainly not modest - if by that you mean unwilling to discuss my sexuality. But I have not found a single woman who can explain how she achieves orgasm by any means. They always focus on physical stimulation without any apparent awareness that sexual response occurs in the brains as a reaction to erotic stimuli. I am suggesting that if women were regularly having orgasms by any means that at least some would be willing to talk about it. I also would expect that their male partners would be able to explain the erotic turn-ons, the specific anatomy and the stimulation technique involved. But men can explain nothing they assume (as women do) that orgasms 'just happen'. But men know this is not the case. It is necessary to focus the mind on erotic stimuli and stimulate the sex organ in the correct manner even for a man to have an orgasm. The suggestion that women orgasm by stimulating every part of the body comes from the idea that women should orgasm from the stimulation that men provide during lovemaking. But this is because women are sexually passive and clearly do not know how to masturbate to orgasm. They are embarrassed by sex because it is initiated and driven by the motivation of a penetrating male and involves them assuming the role of the receiver (which is not respected by men themselves).
I mean that Nancy Friday was able to explore testimonials from men and women describing their inner erotic lives. I mean that there are researchers who are also sex workers who are quite willing to discuss these aspects - some in the USA. Also there are those who are more arts inclined who also do this - for example Annie Sprinkle and https://dutchartinstitute.eu/page/1351/sands-murray-wassink as another example here in Europe who you can contact to discuss this more widely. If you want academic connections I recommend reaching out to https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/law/people/bela-bonita-chatterjee who may have some ideas. MAYBE something in these archives too https://link.gale.com/apps/AHSI?u=jyva
My institution just held this event and maybe they can help:
Grab sex! Gender Studies Networking and Research Market at JYU
Do you find gender and sexuality issues interesting and important? Would you like to familiarise yourself with them in future research or studies? Looking for ideas and gripping surfaces? Join this informal event to find new ideas and network!
The University of Jyväskylä conducts a lot of research related to gender and sexuality. The multidisciplinary event brings together researchers and research groups working in different faculties and departments whose research interests and projects are related to gender and sexuality and their diversity.
We bring together researchers from different fields of our university to exchange ideas and experiences about research – such as materials, methods, results and research in general. Students who are interested in the topic or pondering the topic of their theses are also welcome. The event is open to everyone and free of charge.
There will also be a panel of grim standards in the market with the participation of
Professor Sanna Karkulehto (literary studies, queer studies)
University Lecturer, Docent Tuija Saresma (Contemporary Culture Studies)
Postdoctoral researcher Timo Aho (gender studies and working life studies)
Assistant Professor Suvi Heikkinen (leadership, equality in working life)
Teija Ryhtäa (Youth Work Inclusion Specialist, Seta ry.)
The event is organised by the Kantti network and working group Jarmo Harri Jantunen, Marjo Kolehmainen, Milka Siponkoski, Saara Jäntti, Mélodine Sommier and Minna Nikunen.

Thanks but i am not interested in gender studies - far too general. I am interested in sexual response. So far, everyone including the Kinsey Institute, sex therapists and sex researchers have refused to engage in discussion. There is currently no research into sexual response anywhere in the world apart from my efforts. This is due to the extreme taboo over the topic. The assumption that women orgasm with a lover, is fundamental to the rewards that women obtain from men in exchange for providing the regular intercourse men need. This is about politics rather than science.
Did you try them? They say gender AND sexuality - the latter seems to me to be what you are researching. Not saying it is easy to get people engaging seriously with your research - there are similar challenges with paranormal studies. But I wonder rather than you asking, getting them to ask.
No one researches sexual response. I have searched US, UK and everywhere else. It is a no-go zone apparently. Too political. Men want to believe that women are responsive and women want the rewards that men offer when a woman says nothing. I have been asking people to comment for many years. Very few people ever do. Even fewer are willing to be explicit. Even men. But most women refuse to comment - even sex therapists and sex researchers. They refer me to a book or tell me to search the internet. No one is willing to talk about their personal experiences. We all think this is normal but it shouldn't be for those who are advising other women on orgasm. They are simply repeating myths and popular beliefs from erotic fiction. There is no science to support the information that is given.
Did you look at behavioural studies in other animals? So a more biologically based research? e.g. Front. Vet. Sci., 04 April 2023 Sec. Veterinary Experimental and Diagnostic Pathology Volume 10 - 2023 | https://doi.org/10.3389/fvets.2023.1136332

A neuroscience-based approach to the assessment of sexual behavior in animals.
How about fiction for example Manachem's Seed by Carl Djerassi
My focus is sexual response in humans - especially in women. We can't talk to animals but we should be able to talk to humans! My point is that the silence from women on the topic of sexuality does not inspire the belief that they are enjoying sexual pleasure - let alone orgasm. Men seem to think that it is their role to define women's sexuality for them. But if women do not confirm this definition, then it is worthless. Few men are talking about science or research findings. They are talking about erotic fiction.
