My work focuses on sexual response and explaining how and when female orgasm occurs. Typically only men comment on female sexuality. What is most noticeable is that no one contributes to my ideas for how women can enjoy sex play with a lover. Everyone seems to assume that women’s sexual pleasure is encapsulated in the word lovemaking. As long as a woman claims to experience orgasm, men assume that they have satisfied a woman's so-called sexual needs. But these needs are emotional rather than erotic.
