As part of the job, doctors/health professionals conduct outbreak investigation. Once that health system response is complete as per the requirement for Outbreak investigation, the health professionals want to write that as a paper for publication. Now,

1. Is ethical approval required if all the principles of ethical priciples have been followed and eocnsent have been obtained during the Outbreak investigation itself.?

2. As this is not a new research rather writing down of a completed investigation, is prior approval required as that woukld delay the IBI response?

In this case how does one proceed to address the Ethical Consideration and Consent to participate section in teh journal submission?
