I occasionally get this message on various tools, some things I've done: let it run to a virtual layer, run the same analysis in SAGA instead of from QGIS. Some other things I've tried are explicitly selecting the directory/filename in the selection dialog box, making user there isn't some previous process running by closing the tool and/or restarting QGIS. Once it was the user profile, for some reason custom projections are associated with a user profile, not the default. Sorry I can't be more helpful. And obviously, the log file.

Hi, I was dealing with this problem in the past. In my case, the problem was not enough space in the folder - saving location.

I got the same error when using the QGIS Strahler order on a DEM with filled sinks (0.01 setting). I still get the error when using it on the raw DEM, but then I at least get the Strahler layer anyway.

Mikkel Nørtoft Try and use r.watershed in GRASS GIS. This worked for me.

I get multiple errors (several missing rasters and no result in the end) with r.watershed, but maybe my settings weren't right (I'm new to this, and it seems to have quite a lot of options that I have no idea about).

I got the same error. I change a file name and location name to english. It can solve this error.
