As part of recent discussions with a colleague the topics of environmental concern, protection, conservation, assessment, etc., and their relationship to, and understanding through neuroscience came up. I realised that I am unaware of research in this area. Can anybody enlighten me on this topic?
You could try to find imaging (or EEG) research in which they employed public goods dilemma's or other economic games. There is bound to be something but at this moment specific references don't come to mind.
Thank you Karlijin, nothing comes to mind for me either. I will search for this. As well as evaluation between alternate usage choice, do you know of any research in the area that attempted to depict and characterise human / environment relationships rather than choices?
Social neuroscience is an interdisciplinary field devoted to understanding how biological systems implement social processes and behavior, and to using biological concepts and methods to inform and refine theories of social processes and behavior.
