Interesting article, confirming a suspicion I have held for several years. Glad to see research connecting the various CNS diseases mentioned. I wonder if our increased reliance on meat in the diet (esp. in N. America, but not limited to N. America) has contributed to increased incidence of these diseases (Alzheimers, Parkinsons, etc), or if the increase can be explained merely due to increased longevity, giving time for the clinical symptoms to manifest themselves?
