I am currently running some electrochemistry experiments, including CV, GCD, and EIS. However, my background is not in electrochemistry, so I am running into issues about data interpretation. The available information about these techniques that I found was either very general or vague about getting the final results for specific capacitance, energy density, power density or the impedance. Does anyone have any lab notes or powerpoint talking about the basic of these techniques and go over examples to turn these plots into final data?

For CV analysis you can transfer your obtained to data to excel or origin softwares and draw the related graph by setting current as y axis and voltage as x axis. For measuring the capacitance of your electrode, you can measure the area inside of each cycle and normalize the area by mass and if you are using three electrode setup it is better to also normalize by the effective area of electrode you are doing experiment with. For GCD after transferring the data to excel or origin set time as x axis and voltage as y axis. The graph of GCD looks like triangle and it is almost symmetric in good samples with low resistances.
