Hi, I'm doing electrochemical reaction for the intercalation but i just found out that at some high voltages, solvent turns into black , especially for the solvent around the electrode. It looks like some black power gets dissolved into the solution. I used TPAB mixed with NMP solution. I guess it's not a melt rubber from electrode clipper... Is there anyone who know where this black color comes from?
