Few years ago I discovered egg membrane (membrane covering albumen/white) has similar structure to materials designed in laboratories, eg in this paper: DOI: 10.1016/j.micron.2015.01.005

Unfortunately I do not see any possibility to continue research on egg membranes according to mechanical properties (real, not model as QNM),

biocompatibility and possible use in tissue engineering applications. I believe that thermal properties are much more better than PCLC/similar. I think biocompatibility will be at last the same level than PCLC/similar. That is why, to prevent probably try to make some limitations (of using in mentioned applications) via 'patent' or/and 'licence' I sharing my knowledge and 'discover' for free to all of You.

I attached few source files from AFM. You can open it using free Gwyddion (http://gwyddion.net/) or/and WSxM (http://www.wsxmsolutions.com/) which is freeware too.

Taking into consideration 'discovery' I will glad for references to similar application of egg membrane.
