Greetings to all,

I want to ask about the effects of metal alkoxide when used as catalyst in a coating to both human and environment. I read that it is used quite a lot as a catalyst to produce a stronger coating by forming a metal-oxygen-metal bond. I just want to ask if it is suitable for the environment since I am planning to make a coating for a steel that will be immersed in sea. If it is not suitable, can you also suggest a more eco-friendly catalyst that I may look up and study on. Thank you.
