Hello. 

I have sinthesized mesoporous silica particles. When the molar ratio value was low (R=8,4) and I didn't have any water in my media (only water was one from catal. 25% ammonia), the average particle size increased with the use of higher alcohol (D(particles in methanol media) > D(particles in 2-propanol)). Can somebody please give me an explanation to this findings?
