I am currently starting a new project and I would like to know your opinion about the products of a company named "antibodies-online[dot]com" as they seem to offer very affordable antibodies (some even at USD$65 + shipping). I don't really have any experience with that company so I would really appreciate your feedback on it.
Additionally, I was wondering if there is a way to obtain affordable antibodies (even if it is at low quantities) as in this new project our funding is quite low. Do you have any company suggestions or any other comments?
I would also like to clarify that I am looking for -about 5- human anti-cytokine antibodies (in case that helps).
I really appreciate all your comments and, also, I would like to apologize for the "informal" tone of the question but this is quite a personal one.

Hi Andreas - Biolegend provides small quantities of antibodies at reasonable prices. The ones we use (and they supply) tend to be validated for Facs so may not be suitable for all applications - fairly cheap however.

The Developmental Studies Hybridoma Bank (DSHB) provides extremely cheap source of monoclonals (as it is a non-profit). Can't seem to link to it now so hopefully it is still running.

Companies such as you mentioned are usually resellers. The quality level of the different antibodies might vary. This is a general problem. You may read this recent review to understand the context.

Dear Andres,
there are several good suppliers that we have been able to buy affordable antibodies nfrom. I would recommend Jackson Labs, BioRad and MabTech, just to mention a few. We are very seldom dissapointed with the products that they provide.
