Background: European Clearinghouse compiled the information on oral problems related to HIV infection, and categorized the oral manifestations in HIV as strongly associated, less commonly associated and lesions commonly seen in HIV. One of the manifestations stated in less commonly associated lesions is "Thrombocytopenia"

Query: How would one can diagnose Thrombocytopenia clinically based on oral symptoms. Although it can be discussed that thrombocytopenia related oral changes are Petechiae, purpura, ecchymosis, hemorrhagic bullae, hematomas, is it evidently supportive to diagnose the presentation as thrombocytopenia?
