I have two piezometers, which are at 1 m distance from each other. If i'd want to measure the saturated hydraulic conductivity between these 2, what would be the easiest/quickest method? Thank you in advance!
I feel these two piezometers are need to be placed at respective location in which you need to know the pore water pressure. It is possible to calculate the hydraulic conductivity indirectly from the pore water pressure reading. The pore water u = h X unit weight of water..h - hydraulic head can be obtained from the above equation..permeability can be obtained from this value using Darcy's law..ok all the best in your research..
