I had recently received a lots of invitations asking for chapters contributions
I want to ask about which has a more impact in the scientific community, publishing your work as a chapter or as a journal article

Journals achieve results faster. However, if the book is authored by highly reputed names in specialty, a contribution in that book may be priceless.
Definitely journal articles. Keep in mind that good journals will never request you to submit papers until and unless you are very renowned in your field.

So what about publishing a chapter in a peer-reviewed and well reputed publishing house?
No real difference. Not clear at all what peer-review in a book chapter really means.
I will say that depends on the host journal. For me if present the opportunity in the same (standard) journal I will prefer book chapter because up till now I have none.
Book chapters are also good if they are properly reviewed/edited. Many books are published in a haste and contain innumerable errors.
Journal publications are believed to have higher impact (and are highly rated) in the academic world compared to book chapters due to the processes and rigours of publication. Moreover, it's initially via a journal (due to the peer review process) that a research could be confirmed.

Often books are published to felicitate University Professors with some invited papers. Proceedings of some conferences are also published as books. Though now a days they obtain ISBN, the circulation remains restricted to the respective authors only. You will not find them in any library. Then what is the use in publishing papers in such books! I feel that it is better to avoid publishing in such book unless the publishers are renowned.
I published some new records and new uses of plants in two such books but there are no takers. On the other hand I published a new plant species in a special Volume of Zoological Survey of India and to my surprise the name was duly listed in IPNI.

Generally if you get an opportunity, publish anywhere, anything valuable, as it will add to knowledge dissemination.
Peer reviewed journals are not without doubts as the two or three decades of positive results publication, have made them less reliable in terms of publication bias specially during systematic review processes.

Personally, I enjoy writing both book chapters and also articles. However, mostly research articles are preferred over book chapter because they bear faster results.
I think the journal articles are fast spread and high impact than E-Books.
It would be better to publish your work as a journal article, because these days impact factors and citation reports are central to a successful academic or scientific career.
A very important question and interesting answers. I have same problem too and I was wondering whether to stop accepting invitations for book chapter contributions.
Publishing as articles will be more readable and accessable, especially if it is an open access journal
