I have a system where both dynamic and static quenching are taking place simultaneously. I have fitted the stern-volmer model. My Kd is 135 ml/mg and Ks 115 ml/mg. What do these constant show together in a single equation ? that dynamic quenching is dominant ? or there is any other information I can infer from it ?

You could study the effect of the quencher on the fluorescence lifetime, in order to have an independent measure of the dynamic quenching. You could then compare your dynamic quenching rate constant with that of a diffusion limited process and may be discussed it in term of the Chem Weller equation.

You can do the fluorescence life study, It will give you Kd.. and then from the combined quenching model using Kd you can get Ks
