Dear all, regarding the measurements of drug activities in cells, mostly in brain cell derivative cultures, which choice of medium recipe is correct for those treatments, medium with serum or without serum?

Which kind of interferences the serum (FBS, horse... whatever) can create in relation to the drug activity?
