UN says that in just 10 years, every 2 out of 3 people will be living in any country would be struggling to meet demand for water, But Singapore has no aquifers or lakes, assures that its residents will not be affected ... Reduction in annual rainfall, climatic changes, improper utilization, insufficient catchment, polluted water sources, and exploitation are all related to the water wealth in future. Linking of water bodies is a good option but vulnerable when in the hands of private. How can be handle this situation when GOD has bestowed the water as "free for all" to continue and flow through the coming generations.
